Michele E. Hagan, Esq. is an experienced trial attorney who practices employment law, business law, and criminal law in San Francisco. She is a nationally
recognized trial skills trainer with TRIAL READY® providing CLE
training programs on trial, presentation, marketing, negotiation skills
and witness preparation to law firms, bar associations and individual
attorneys to avoid "trial by fire". For the public, TRIAL READY®
provides educational programs to maximize the attorney-client
partnership. TRIAL READY® clients include the American Bar Association
Labor & Employment Section, the California State Bar, several bar
associations and the law firms of Paul Hastings, Littler Mendelsohn,
Howard Rice, and Loeb & Loeb, US Small Business Administration
and Small Business Development Center in Silicon Valley.
Ms. Hagan is a former Supervising Trial Attorney with the San Diego City
Attorney's Office and a former San Francisco District Attorney. She is
an instructor for NITA (National Institute for Trial Advocacy). She is
a former adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the University of San
Diego School of Law. Ms. Hagan has also published several articles on
trial skills and has served as the NBC's legal analyst in San Diego
(KNSD News). She continues to appear as a legal expert on COURT TV, E!
Television, and NBC in San Francisco (KRON Channel 4) and several
radio stations throughout California and Washington. Ms. Hagan is a
member of the ABA and California State Bar Litigation & Education
Sections, and chairs the ABA Negotiation Skills Committee.
